ROYAL MARINE COMMUNITY

FLAGSHIP EVENT BLACK TIE BOXING DINNER

The Royal Marines Community Flagship Event is a formal black tie evening hosted at the iconic Titanic Hotel Liverpool. It brings together serving Royal Marines, veterans, civic leaders, major employers, and representatives from Merseyside’s boxing community for an evening that combines ceremony, sport, and meaningful community engagement.

The dinner forms the centrepiece of a wider three to four day regional programme delivered across Merseyside. Throughout the programme, schools, academies, youth organisations, and boxing clubs take part in structured engagement sessions led by Royal Marines personnel, veterans, and community partners. These sessions are designed to inspire, inform, and create clear pathways toward future opportunities.

THE INITIATIVE AIMS TO:

• Inspire young people from underrepresented communities

• Demonstrate pathways into cadets, reserves, and regular service

• Connect young adults with employers and meaningful career routes

• Support cadets, reservists, and service leavers through The Charter

• Strengthen civic pride and community cohesion across Merseyside

This programme provides sponsors with an opportunity

to align with a high-integrity, high-impact initiative backed

by the Royal Marines and Royal Navy, delivering both

community value and long-term social benefit.
